New single image & cover!

Cover + Image for new single [ココロノナイマチ] is UP on the official website!! ^O^

New image is cool! Reminds me somewhat of... UK... grunge! :) Yeah!! Gruffy Tatsurou w moustache & beard stubble :P

Musicnet's webpage has been updated again with a new video, so now there're three vids there! Newest vid has Yukke-sensei teaching you..some..stuff (& a peeping tom nearby) XD
(I downloaded the latest realplayer - link's also on the page - and the vids now play quite smoothly, thank goodness!)

More mucc news.. hm seems to be a lot today.. they're gonna be on the cover of the next Shoxx! I suppose it'll be about the new single, & with this new image too.

& I received 「kRayzi yeaR(s)」today!

「君に幸あれ」choral vers.

On 18 Oct 2002, Like An Edison held an event with mucc and about 700 of their fans in a Shinagawa churchhall. There, the fans were distributed lyrics for two songs from the then-newly released album 「葬ラ謳」: 「君に幸あれ」and 「暗闇に咲く花」. The fans then practised and sang both songs choral-style, with Miya and Satochi accompanying on guitar and drums respectively, and Yukke as the main conducter ^^. Tatsurou..well, looking at the clip of the event in [The Worst] DVD, it seems as if he was enthusiastically playing the role of conductor too XD

As a result, two CD recordings were made, one for each song. The CDs were only distributed by Like An Edison selectively, i.e. not for sale and very rare! The CD cover was a photograph of the event, with mucc members on stage, and the fans behind them.

Actually, I didn't know about this event until I saw and heard a short clip of it from [The Worst] DVD. That short clip blew me off! :O! Because I never could have imagined 「君に幸あれ」being sung this way before! & that sound haunted me so much that I decided to see if I could land my hands on the 原音. Well, so far I'm only half-successful, because I managed to find Part I: 「君に幸あれ」, but Part II: 「暗闇に咲く花」, is just too rare! (the only time I saw it on yahoo jp, its ending price was 10,000Yen. i so regret not bidding for it, despite the hefty price!)

Anyway, I've uploaded the mp3 of the recording here:
「君に幸あれ」choral vers.
(The link is up for 7 days only, and for a limited no. of downloads.)

I love how they even harmonize at all the right parts!! Simply amazing, isn't it? The whole thing gives me a spine-tingling & gothic feel. I think events like these are more meaningful than the usual meet-the-fans session types, because there is a concrete product out of it, and which is related to the band's music as well.

set lists..

I burnt a CD-R of mucc's songs...though mp3s are definitely not the way to listen to mucc, especially with a 5.1 sound system too! But.. just can't bear to subject my CDs to the risk of being scratched.

Well at least I can listen to more songs without having to switch discs!

Nor having to wait 40+minutes for a hidden track~ XD XD XD

Sigh... listening through all the tracks makes me suddenly wonder when I'll be able to hear these tracks played live. Especially the older tracks. The setlists during 1st&2nd days of 10 Days Tour were actually quite varied, but alas, unfortunately I hadn't known all of mucc's songs then. ;_; & the autumn tour last year was immediately after their new album release so the setlists were mostly from the new album too. I guess the coming Spring tour should be quite varied, since it's after the release of a two-track single.. Even though I won't be able to catch the Spring tour, I'd still be eagerly waiting to see what setlists will be played :)

Surprisingly (or not?), I'm not that excited about the coming photobook release. I almost forgot to place my order for it~~

What I'm looking forward to: The new single come 30 Mar. & seeing reviews/pics/setlists of the Spring tour.

『少年M』

They've added in two new video clips on the webpage:
http://www.musicnet.co.jp/moremore/200501240000.html
The 2nd one has Miya playing the piano! :O! :D! That's the first time I'm seeing him at the piano.
Unfortunately the clips don't come on quite smoothly for me. Wonder why? Oh well, shucks..

Anyway, there you have it, a mucc mook coming up :P

Ne, there're actually quite a number of interesting releases in March......which is exciting but unfortunately rather stressful on the wallet...
