I've finally put up my travel journal for the Japan trip in Oct/Nov 04:
japan oct.nov 04 (http://souran-syukyou.blogspot.com)

It's quite wordy in the beginning (^^;) but be rest assured the wordiness lessened after a while (^^;;)

There's a link in there to my live report on mucc's 29 Oct 04 live at Namba Hatch.

Official muccer 003940 reporting!

The best thing that happened this weekend (besides hangin' out with BH and Poh) was receiving an email from a friend in Japan that was titled "Shuunoto". (^_^)

Uhm.. mucc's 2nd 2-man live with Balzac would have ended by now. The next live lined up would be the 30 Jan event @ liquidroom ebisu.. where The Back Horn would also be performing.
Events kinda strike me mainly as opportunities for bands to expand their audience range. The intent is quite different from one-man lives...you can tell from the setlists they choose and even, eg. in the case of the recent 2-man live with Balzac, the Stalin cover that the band chose to perform. It's all well and good, really~~ it's cool that more people get to know mucc's good music. It's just that for someone who's aiming to catch mucc's lives during an overseas trip, nothing can be better than one-man lives.
[edit: I would kill to see the 79 bands events though!! :D]

I'm getting really excited about 激楽さんs' recent activities. Especially when one of the photos on their webpage had some lyrics of a yet-to-be-released song peeking out from the corner. I noticed that their live notice had been taken down. Don't tell me...that was actually for last year's live??! hahaha...that would be funny.. means it would have been almost a year since they have had a live! Well, hope they'll still arrange for a live session soon anyway! :)

2005~Year of Distraction?

The Barks website has been recently updated with a 7+min interview withミヤ, cross-interview with Balzac (their first live together was tonight!) and some sample clips from the History DVD and Roppongi Live CD.

Click on the picture to get to the Barks page, or click here. Is it possible to save streaming clips like these?

Sigh. Why did they have to re-release the Roppongi Live CD in the stores with those additional 2 tracks??! Grr. Unlikely I'll purchase the 1/26 CD.. well, at least for the moment. Need to allot the money for other purchases *sheepish look* I was rather intrigued by the clip in the History DVD where a 合唱團sang [君に幸あれ] with ムック (& Yukke as main conductorrrr!^_^). Didn't know the song could be sung in this way before! In fact, didn't expect any of ムック's songs to be sung this way! Everytime the clip comes out I get goosebumps. Not the "shudder" kind of goosebumps, but the "man.. mucc's song sung in choral-style!!!" kind of goosebumps. Awesome. They even harmonized at all the right places! Would be great to hear a recording of that session.

New Year's Eve live @ Mito Lighthouse

There's a pic of the Ibaraki bands live session on New Year's Eve.
It's under the 15th Anniversary page at the Mito Lighthouse website

Really hope to be able to watch a live at Mito Lighthouse in the future!

激楽隊updates! ^^

Finally~ profile, pics and messages updates on the 激楽隊 website. & new goods out too! Would be cool to get my grabby hands on the T-shirt, but that unfortunately doesn't seem possible for overseas buyers. *mentally notes it down for next trip* But what I'd really like to get my hands on is the music.. am really curious what their music is like! f(^^)

Oops I missed it earlier, but there's going to be a live session soon too!
