Starmucks!

They're getting cornier & cornier... XD

Talking about tourgoods, this time round i didn't get down to buying any of the Rainy Rave goods... quite amazing seeing how i usually get tempted to buy tour goods on the impulse :)

In the anketto, i proposed to Tatsurou to consider a mucc thumbdrive and a mucc laptop case as possible tour goods... at least i'll have some practical use for those!

i liked the wristband design... but i don't need another one...

i liked the blue t-shirt design.. but i don't need another one! XD

ps. i'm v amused by the hello kitty coffee maker too... it's the one yuketsuko mentioned in one of 'her' articles right? so he's really using it! XD

pps. there's this pre-mucc live song that is stuck in my head but i don't know the name of the song... it's driving me nuts!

one question...what is the "anketto"?

I'd love to have a mucc thumbdrive, the laptop I think would be excessive at least for me...and what about an ipod "muccustomized"? like the U2's ones.

By the way, one day you should post your collection of mucc's goods!

Anketto was derived from the French word 'enquête' meaning questionnaire. So yeah, an anketto is like a questionnaire that will be handed out to the audience after a live to get their feedback. Mucc's ankettos are always designed by Tatsurou in line with the tour theme, and there's this part in the anketto where you can give feedback to each of the members.

Did they have ankettos during their Europe lives?

Oh, i don't mean a laptop itself, but a laptop case! In an earlier anketto, i suggested a tumbler, so i'm really glad they have got one out... i'm going to order it online, hehee.

Actually most of the time it's hard to resist getting a tour T-shirt... so the most tour goods i have are Tees! XD

there weren't ankettos in Europe...I guess it would have been difficult to them because of the different languages and because their english wasn't very good in those days

ohh you meant only the laptop case...it makes more sense to me XDD and how do you buy it online from Singapore? or do you buy it throught some Japanese friend?

Did you hear about the new single? almost a year since their last single! I was starting to think that they were considering to take a little break

in Singapore there is a postal service which provides you with a japanese address... although it's not necessarily reliable, but it's better than nothing i suppose!

the new single is quite vkei-ish... i'm looking forward to seeing the footages of the accompanying DVD!

so are you in beijing now?

Yes, the new single is a bit vkei...the beginning doesn't remind you of Metallica's One?

Btw is weird what is happening with Mucc...the more mainstream they are, the more visual their look becomes, specially Tatsurou...now is scary XD

Finally I have received the singles on time!...have you seen the dvd? The second part is some kind of joke the guys play on Miya?
I didn't understand anything but it was like the interviewer was flirting with Miya or something like this, wasn't it?

i combined my shipment of mucc's new single with TBH's new album, so i suppose i wouldn't be getting it until this weekend... gosh, what's that on the dvd... a short clip of it was on the OHP, right?

how's the single?

are you off to beijing already? all the best!!! darn, you're just gonna miss the bands' RTOC europe leg! but i'm sure you'll be enjoying yourself as much, if not more, in beijing!

I made a different order for THB's new album and dvd, because I wanted to have Mucc's single before leaving for Beijing XD(I'm still in Bilbao, but only for 18 hours more!)

The dvd carries a few interviews with the guys at the recording studio (or at least it looks like it) and then, some interview/joke for kerrang TV. The single also comes with a poster (the poster is the cover of the regular edition of the single).

Yes it's a shame I'll miss the tour, though I prefer to see them in their own tour, and not in a festival with sets of only 45 minutes +-...but who knows, maybe they come to china this year again!

By the way, Concrete 082 is very Red Hot Chili Peppersish song, don't you think?

Have you heard mucc's new album? What do you think? It's probably not going to be my favourite album but it's got its interesting places! 讃美歌 was definitely surprising! Can't wait to see it performed live!

Hi,

My blog is also a bit stopped...I don't really have to much time now, I usually came back to my home around around 21.30, then review some hanzi, watch a bit the tv and then go to sleep XD. I was supposed to be back in Spain since December but I'm still here (I'll be till around July, and then come again in September, if I'm lucky with a scholarship, if not, I will have to find out then XD) so I think it's clear that I'm having a very good time here XD

Yesterday I heard 球体 for the first time (I just moved and in my new house I dont have internet...so now I'm using someone else's wifi and sometimes the internet in China doesn't work really well...) and I still don't really know what to think, the only thing that comes to my mind, it's they are no longer the Mucc we knew...and we have to get used to the new sound (and they are doing well on sales...)...it's look like they have been heavily influenced by the american bands they lately tour with, maybe they should tour in Japan more XD.

As for 讃美歌...I'm still shocked XD that "ave maria, santa maria" thing, I'm afraid to know the meaning of the song XD besides, the music doesn't remind you of The Eagles's "Hotel California"? When I first listen to 讃美歌, in the begining I thought my mp3player has gone crazy XD

When are you going to see them live again? if they tour Asia in May-June and they don't come to China, maybe I'll go to see them, because I'm thinking of doing a one week trip in those dates, and I have the doubts of going to South Korea or Japan (it depends on the prices of the plane ticktes and if Seo Taiji and Mucc are on tour)

By the way, one language question, since you speak Chinese and Japanese, the Hanzi characters used in Japanese has the same meaning? Because know when I saw the lyrics or the name of the songs I recognize a lot of Hanzi but I'm not sure if the meaning is the same.

Btw2. do you have facebook? If so and you want, maybe we can keep in contact there.

i can see what you mean by it sounding like Hotel California... it's that particular refrain... though the mood's kinda different... anyway, i'm attending the budokan gig and maybe they'll perform it live there. i'll keep you posted! XD

is it just my imagination or are there quite a bit of biblical references in the album? menton of Adam & Eve, Noah's Ark, Ave Maria/Santa Maria, fallen angel...

yup, by and large the hanzi (kanji) in Japanese have a similar meaning... so people who know Chinese may be able to guess the meaning if they see it in kanji. but for some words there can be differences, like 青 mostly refers to blue in Japanese, but in Chinese it refers to green. do you find it difficult to remember the hanzi?
